President
Welcome to the world of efficient and effective community management, led by Tasha Parmelee, an industry stalwart with decades of experience. As the proud owner of Next Step Community Management, Tasha brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in homeowners association (HOA) management, honed through her journey from a small California coastal company to overseeing the California Bay Area market for a global firm.
Tasha's dedication to the field extends beyond her role as a business owner. She is also an esteemed adjunct lecturer at Cal State Monterey Bay (CSUMB), where she imparts invaluable insights in business communication, management, ethics, and data analytics. Her mastery in these subjects is rooted in her academic accomplishments, holding a master's degree in business management.
In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Tasha is a recognized industry leader. She is a Certified Association Manager Executive (CAMEx) with the California Association for Community Managers (CACM) and holds a CCAM-PM specialty certification, showcasing her commitment to excellence in community management.
Tasha's influence extends to the boardroom as well. She serves as a director on the board for CACM, contributing her strategic vision to shape the industry's future. Beyond her board responsibilities, Tasha is a sought-after professional speaker at various trade events, sharing her insights and experiences with fellow industry professionals.
Away from the boardroom and classroom, Tasha finds solace and inspiration in nature. An amateur photographer and digital artist, she captures the beauty of the outdoors through her lens and artistic creations. Amidst her professional endeavors, Tasha is also a devoted mother to three amazing children, balancing her passion for community management with her love for family.

Adriana DaSilva
General Manager
Adriana DaSilva brings over twenty years of expertise to Next Step Community Management, specializing in homeowners’ association management. Renowned for her dedication to professionalism, mentorship, and active involvement in the industry, Adriana has a solid history of managing intricate construction projects, new property developments, and special assessments. Her depth of knowledge is frequently sought in consultations and expert testimonies.
Adriana's commitment to nurturing talent has positively impacted numerous managers, and her engagement with professional organizations such as ECHO, CACM, and CAI highlights her dedication to continuous professional growth. She is a Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM), accredited by the California Associations of Community Managers.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Adriana cherishes her roles as a wife and mother, emphasizing the importance of work-life balance. She enjoys quality time with her family and friends, attending her children’s sporting events, and experiencing California’s natural splendor through camping adventures.

BAILEY VIRGO
Operations Specialist
Bailey brings over five years of experience in community association management administration, along with a strong background in customer service, to Next Step Community Management. As a key contributor to both administrative and operational functions, she excels in problem-solving and navigating the complexities of various association issues, such as homeowner payments, transitions, operations, vendor coordination, and board communications.
Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University–Monterey Bay and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Cal Poly Pomona. She has also earned the M-100 certification from the California Association Institute and actively pursues ongoing education to stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
Outside of work, Bailey enjoys exploring Southern California, discovering new restaurants, reading, spending time with her cats, and traveling.
